Weekend trips from Singapore

Thanks for the post. Do you know if it is possible to do stuff like weekends in Borneo or Sumatra? Was thinking of visiting the Orangutang reserve there, heard nothing but good reports! Anyone been there or to Ubud in Bali?
Also anyone been to Gili Islands and Lombok?

I went to Gili T during the Chinese New Year period this year. Its a nice place to chill because there really isnt much to do, beside renting dvds at watching at night, and diving. Be prepared to pay alot (US$50-80/pax) for transfer (from airport to the island itself).
