Let's keep each other informed if there will be any big metal/rock band concert in Malaysia. For sure, it would be easy to go from here.
With my kind regards

It's not worth that much as I don't consider Jet as a big band. I feel quite frustrated here as there are no interesting performances. After metal festivals in Europe, even the 2 japanese festivals in this year also seem not so exciting. I have checked the line-ups and nothing so special

With my kind regards

Also still rock frustrated! The announcement of Engelbert Humperdinck playing in Singapore nearly made me take the plunge from the top of Mount Faber

Be strong Dolph.
Having heard that Slayer and Yngwie Malmsteen were here before. I still have some hope, but not for this year.
I also feel so frustrated after hearing from my friends in Istanbul that Jorn Lande is coming to concert end of May.
If I am lucky I catch something in September when I am in Istanbul for 10 days.
With my kind regards

Please keep me informed too. I have specific likes though but there will be a rock band concert in Singapore this year, local bands and stuff.
I am on the look out for the likes of Radiohead, Foo Fighters, Taproot, Hed Pe, Red Hot, Linkin Park, Korn, Avenged Seven Fold etc. Doubt if ANY of them will grace this island though. Fingers crossed!
Keep me in the loop guys, ta.

Just checked out the program in Istanbul. Tool is coming for a concert early September. I hope I can find a ticket before I go.
There is nothing here in Singapore immortal
I heard the new DT album is out on peer to peer websites: Systematic Chaos. Read some comments mostly positive. Especially "In the presence of enemies Part 1 and 2". Anyone listened to the album yet?
What about Riverside? Anyone had a chance to listen to them?
With my kind regards

Hi there,
I saw some great shows at the Mosaic Festival: Tower of Power, Yo La Tengo, and Buddy Guy. Not much of a metal fan, but almost anything else. I got Jet tickets.
Also saw Dirty Dozen Brass Band at Timbre - this is a small outdoor venue and a restaurant. Reminded me of home (except for the heat!). There's music there every night except Sundays.
