There will be no interview on the day itself. It's just an open day, showing you the presentation about the airlines and lifestyle in Qatar. In the end of the presentation, they will ask you to submit your CV only. If you are shortlisted, they will call you.
So no worries for being late...

Hi
I dun think you can be late for the Qatar one cos it's not like emirates where SASS is doing the first round selection for emirates..
For Qatar, the qatar recruitment team will be here for the first round... start off with invitation to ballroom to view video, talk abit abt airline and living in Qatar, a Q&A session. Then you will be invited to hand in your resume & pics to the recruitment as you leave the room. Those shortlisted will receive a call from them by the late afternoon that day.
Moreover, it's industry standard that CC can't be late... imagine what the recruitment team will think of you...

BA
At the beginning of the year a number of posters applied to BA some of whom were very unsuccessful. The reason being both their English and Chinese (written and spoken in both) were not up to the required standard.
Those who are serious about this airline should work on both, they don't recruit very often.

I guess it so you don’t overstay illegally and so they can have the data in their system. Much like a census.
