Hi, anyone wants to learn fencing? I have seen an advertisement of fencing class on a taxi! But it passed by too quickly for me to catch the name of the school. Anyone knows where the school is?

Sounds good! I would also like to explore the area here and visit some nice exhibitions and stuff. Can't make it this sunday but I'll join next time.

sun 16 dec wan2 go national museum? prob go ard 3pm

e national museum opens from 10am to 8pm daily,while e lourve and history exhibition area is only open from 10am-6pm...$8 for e lourve and history gallery n $16 for the package which u can visit every gallery.
(think e package is more practical.)

anybody wan2 go as well? really want to go check it out

matty, i've tried dragonboating couple of times. Didn't really like it, though it was quite an experience. i'm sure if you look around the forum, there are some threads from dragonboating team. Too bad I can't find the phone numbers of ppl i dragonboat with..

particularly Little Red Flower. Currently tix is sold at $5, and it's a small theatre, and as of now, half of the seats are sold. If you're keen, let me know in the next 1-2 days and i'll book it.

thanks for the tip, fishtank...i will def check out the forum for some dragonboaters...

i'm headed back to the states on fri so i'm going to have to pass on the show...

as for trattoria lafiandra, i have been there twice now and it's pretty damn close to its italian counterparts (at least as much as can be expected in singapore)...i am definitely interested in going back when i get back to town...

Well, you have fun and have a good trip then.. I'll explore and see if any other place is as good. Garibaldi has good reviews, but i'm skeptical. And the word trattoria just simply yells good food. And i miss the Osteria in the small little lanes...

Ooooooooh did someone say Garibaldi!??? fish tank, you have excellent taste. Garibaldi's sister restaurants are "Menotti" and 2 others called "Riccotti". All worth a try, especially Riccotti
