I'm originally from HK, lived in the US for 10 years and moved here to Singapore exactly one month ago. So far I love it and think it's as least as good if not better than HK.

Hello! I am new here! I am from HK, and have been staying in Singapore for 1.5 years. i feel life in Spore is more relax n since my family is not here, I can spend more time on doing my own interest n goin out w friends more.
Actually it is always good 2 work/live in another country, ppl will always experience different life and meet different ppl. I feel I learn alot here. of coz i do miss my HK friends n family; but if will always meet new friends here. dun worry.
I would also like 2 meet more ppl from HK, I miss the catno songs alot........now I am very out...if there s any gathering i would like 2 join!

Personally, I prefer SG to HK.

I love HK and everything, I have lots of friends and family there. But SG has a homely feeling. It feels more like home.

I do visit HK a lot, and from SG its only a short flight away.

I've just moved to Singapore for a new job and I used to work in HK for a couple of years before so I've kind of seen both sides (I'm not a local of either, I'm from England). I think both places have their advantages, Singapore has a nicer environment I'd say but then HK is a bit more dynamic, depends what you like. I just took the opportunity to come to Singapore as I felt like I'd 'done it' regarding HK but hadn't yet tried living in Singapore. Just need to make some friends here now and I'll be all set, oh and I do miss cafe de coral in HK (yeah I know, I have no taste

)

nope nope, u r not "no taste"; I ate it everyday during my junior school (school lunch contractor). the price is cheap but the food actually not bad! i miss the mince beef tomato rice n deep fried drumstick for tea... hehe
btw i feel singapore restaurant is much more expensive than in HK.

Hi everyone,

Sorry that ong time havent show up. Very obviously I do enjoy my life with my little prince (yslee comments my prince become a king already).

Many ppls say I married with a S'porean and having a family here thats why I prefer stay in Singapore. Without my family, I still prefer living & working here. I got a lot of friends in CGC and they gave me a very great time in the last 2 years. And we have built up a good relationship not just friends, like a family. I meet up with them even more than my own family members.

To be frank, without the malaysian ppls in the group, we won't know each other. We wont have a group called, CGC.

Moonriver, please propose the venue for gathering. Cant wait to meeting new friends.

Agreed, Cafe de coral is awesome, so as 美心, the 六寶飯 is really tasty.

Glad to see it's not just me then

It was funny that the local guys in the office always had it for lunch and then always chastised themselves afterwards, similar to me eating McDonalds at home and then knowing I shouldn't have straight after haha
