I'm officially eating snakes here...lunch soon but got hungry too early..Hi FIve Ching, wah.. looks like you are very busy Hi Five-ing..Thank you girls..really cheers me up reading the interesting post, so happening here .

i'm working as a assistant in an internal training department. just started Oct last year and this is a new department in the firm..that's why alot of things..need to reform and the management is not very 'expirence'. When i came in..the first batch of girls all quit together..so got to suffer alone here lo..was working alone with the bosses for like 2 months till new staffs came in..wah i feel i very lor sor lei...STOP.

just feel tired slogging doing boring stuff, alot things all push to me lo..coz i'm the so call 'senior' here but holding lowest post coz i'm a fresh grad..so unfair right..haha

and then. have to log in and read. yup thats right. im very busy.
but still can spare some time logging in here and just take a look
and reply if still got time. haha....

thats true. it really do cheer you up just by reading those posts
here. so sad and poor of you to cover alone. same suitation just

haha see..here again..i think the most unbearable part is always seeing 'plastic' people.. think i have alot to learn still..hope CX reply quickly!!! and really hope in future they can open more routes..

Cathay to resume Colombo flights
Hong Kong (2007-04-10)

CATHAY Pacific Airways will resume daily flights between Hong Kong and Colombo on April 22.

CX703, which departs from Hong Kong on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, will fly via Bangkok; while CX711 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday stops in Singapore before continuing to Colombo.

since they have flights starting from 22nd April onwards from singapore to hongkong.. i think it will be a very rush interview..maybe they shortlist fast n have to rush to put through the girls for training really soon. I am sure all of u hope that they will select everyone here!

you know, i don't think it'll all be new crew.. cos remember in the other thread where a CX crew posted an email from the management? current crew from other bases are eligible to apply for SIN base too. perhaps those who chose to come here will then be flying the SIN routes first, and then it slowly expands with new crew? that's what i think la!

We will be inviting applications for cabin crew in Singapore. Similar to our other bases, applications will be open to cabin crew from all bases worldwide and crew will be able to apply for positions one category higher than their current position – in other words this is a great promotional opportunity for those who can meet the criteria. In addition, we will be recruiting staff for the Singapore base office; a Base Executive and Base Co-ordinator. A Q&A will follow when we open applications for both the cabin crew and base office positions.

and you know, SIA's training is 4 months, CX's training is 6 weeks. different airlines have different training programs.. don't worry about rushed training and interviews, i'm sure they've got it all planned out.

In order to become completely conversant with all aircraft technical and safety procedures, new Flight Attendants will begin by undertaking an intensive 6-week training programme. Practical sessions take place in an aircraft mock-up. Each team of flight attendants must not only perform numerous routine technical and safety procedures before every take-off, but also review all passenger-service related tasks, and ensure that all necessary items for the flight are on board and properly stowed. Flight Attendants practise dealing with all kinds of passenger-service situations, including every possible emergency contingency. After joining our team, you will learn how to think on your feet, be sensitive to the needs of others, and to quickly turn problems into opportunities.

you are right. at the moment, there isnt any interviews
coming right up at the moment.

normally some peoples will post it here if there's any interview.
every airlines will only start recruit and advertising every two
or three months. that depends also. so good of you. nothing to
do at home. so free and so envious of you. arent you suppose
to be working? how come you dont need to work at all and yet
can stay at home? hehe....

and their trg is 6 wks? thats very short! but gOod! hope they will allow us to fly 1 day .. off 2 days! keke.. shiok leh!

but.. now.. the waiting is a tortureee for us...
