Yep, exactly. So they had to react if (apparently) you did not. You do not need to have a stroller, just pretend you don't see them. *) Their are clueless about the problem, not the environment. Does the Singaporeans complain about all this? I know a few Singaporeans that complain but they are the person exposed for some longer time to the world outside.
* I checked this one out but then I am bigger than an average stroller.

But then this is typically mean and intentionally abusive. In Singapore I believe majority is driven by cultural preconditioning. They are not aware that they cause any troubles.
Which makes it even sadder.
Eee... I don't know. I'd rather prefer to be with people who get me annoyed unintentionally than these who know about this and are still fine doing it if it serves their goals.

Who would you prefer to have as your flat above neighbor:
1) somebody who makes a noise but he does not know that it bothers you
2) somebody who makes a noise but he does not care whether it bothers you ?

aside from the spatial awareness ... i dont know if this happens to others but yesterday while eating in a hawker centre i was annoyed to boiling point when the man in one of the shops placed the dirty dishes and cups on our table while we were still eating. he cleared the table beside us and placed all the junk on our table. i couldn't believe it and i was wondering is it just me or is it acceptable over here to do that when someone is still using the table.
so what my officemate and i did was to place all the stuff on his counter and when he saw what we did. he glared at us and i glared back at him then he proceeded to put all the stuff on another table.

Spot on, I fully agree, Singapore has a lot to learn about hygiene and cleanliness from the Philippines. Such behaviour is one of the worst things a human can do.

why small units psf are usually higher than bigger ones?
First post
I guess some real estate agents would find a way to get small ones (usually 400-600 sq ft) in new projects and make them resale after 3 years....

Large units have the opportunity to enjoy more capital appreciation since the sq ft is bigger. However more input in capital as well. I've heard of...

Dairy Farm Residences - Maintenance fee more than doubled

In fact, I was rather surprised that during the launch the developer had quoted only $200-$300+ for 3 bedroom, it seems rather low for a 3 bedroom....
