It seems the 'guest' was shouting at me, without of course making any sense or giving an opinion to the situation, which makes this guest as pathetic as the OP.
Anytime you want to try less-than-useless 'guest', possibly Mrs Ho . . ., anytime you want to try.

i have just three things to say here,
Man is a social animal.
You cannot clap with one hand.
Love is probably the most misused word.
the lady will need some time to sit back and think it over, her head would be all jumbled if she has read all the comments here. But then maybe she has made some sense out of it already
GOD HELPS, those who try

You disagree with Vaucluse Yogi?
I think it is very wise. Truth hurts sometimes, but there it is.
When you go in for a job interview, I think a good thing to ask is if they ever press charges.

The topic is highly inappropriate. It's lust, not love. Any illusion of it being love is sorely misguided.

True, she is a slapper.
He certainly is the male equivalent.
She can p... off if she wants sympathy.
What a pathetic specimin of humanity she is, and him too.
Even if they had problems as a married couple they should have spoken about them, but it couldn't have been that bad as he is still with wifey.
So the OP is not only a slapper but a stupid slapper for believing him.
No I am not heartless but fed up of these sleazy types bleating on for advice when all they want is to get back into the pants of a married man.

It seems most people here like to play the blame game and pick on other people, unfortunate as it is, It is the real world and there are as many complexities here as the number of people. perhaps even more, but then again maybe its just the mind...

You are correct, Yogi - all the responses here are simplifications of what is potentially playing in the background to this sordid affair.
But let us just for one moment go back to basics then:
Married man
Single woman
They have an affair
He wants to break it off
She doesn't
He does
She is pissed
Sound about right so far?
Miss Trollop is upset and wants revenge because the married jerk 'used' her and will not leave his wife.
Miss Slapper uses this forum to vent her frustrations - absolutely correct if she wants to get flamed for being simply dumb.

I didn't read anything in her post about seeking revenge. Venting her frustration, yes. I think she realises that she messed up majorly, and is obviously feeling sorry for herself. It isn't easy to snap out of such a relationship when you think you're in love. I think locallass gave the best advice possible. Rest is upto the OP.
People make mistakes Vaucluse, don't be so tough on them. This isn't a perfect world.

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.

Mrs. Ho - appropriately named, if you think messing around with a married man is acceptable.
Married man in question - thoughtless prick. Don't get married if you can only think for your own needs and not the needs of a woman who loves you enough to marry you!
No sympathy here for either one of you, but even less for Mrs. Ho, who can't quite tell the difference between love and lust. Wake UP!
And the sultans - yeah the sultans
they play creole...Creole, baby
