I keep missing the boat!

I just found this site and forums - where have i been you may ask?!!

I landed on Dec 30th and it has been mental starting a new job, in a new country and finding somewhere to live and open a bank account get all the crap! All done now phew!

But just wanting to meet a few like minded people to hang out with, enjoy a beer/coffee, do some exploring, travel, even play a bit of rugby (touch) - intend to join a club but I can't commit long term until the job settles down!

Would love to hear from a few people, been out with a few work colleagues, which has been fun, but it seems hard to break into other groups of random people?!

Hi Laura,

I just arrived in Singapore too. I am also still settling down (though the whole moving in part is not done yet) and am looking to meet people outside of the office.
Am french, 30 and am here for the next 2-3 years.
I love music, concerts (was in Laneway last week, so cool!), travelling, shopping (you have to if you live in Singapore) and just hanging out with friends.
