I once had the lease of an apartment in London, and sub-let a room to a couple of decent seeming birds from Vaucluse, who it quickly transpired were smack-heads. I think I managed to turf them out within about 10 days.... but cleaning up all the puke and blood left behind was very uncool...

One was called Sarah. Aus is a small place, I expect you know her (blonde, nice tits)

Pizza has different "meaning" for different countries, as it's obvious from this forum. If you are looking for a decent Italian one (I'm Italian and have been eating wood-oven pizza since I was born), try Bella Pizza on Robertson Quay and L'Operetta at the Icon (condo near Tanjong Pagar). They are both owned and operated by Italian guys with real experience. High quality ingredients, like real mozzarella.

I don't know about the American variants... the look quite scary to me...

Da Luca's at United Square does some nice Northern Italian pizzas. They don't offer home delivery, though. HTH, P

I sometimes order from: http://www.spizza.sg . They are pretty okay, my favourite pizza is Olivia with salami & chilli. They offer 15% discount for Standard Chartered card holders.

The best pizza I ate in Singapore is at Pizzeria Mozza at MBS. The only issue is that it is very loud there as they are always full for dinner. It still makes me wonder how they are able to achieve that type of so thin and crunchy crust. There must be some chemicals used in preparing the dough...

Sarpino's tasted acceptable, but I'm dissapointed that I can't find a place that serves a pizza without that turkey-meat-blend they call "ham"

Pizza at the Botanical Gardens. Sorry no idea the name but the best thin based in SG.

Crust Pizza (originally from AUS) are now here in SIN. We love them, and they do home delivery (slight surcharge ($3.00 ??) for "out of area" deliveries. HTH.

My favourite is still Pepperoni's near Bukit Timah, however we did try an italian at Fort Canning Hotel last night for my gf's mum's birthday... It is also run by Italians... The kids ordered the Pizza and it was amazingly good. The service is also worth a mention since it is about the best I have experience in any restaurant in any country... really couldnt praise it enough.

Interesting that you mention service. As before that became a hotel it was a professional catering school.

I went to some cookery classes there, and we were waited on at lunch by the students doing the pro 'silver service' course. Quite a juxtaposition having a casual on-the-terrace lunch of your own food, being given the full-blown 5* service...

p.s. I wonder if they have hired some of the output from the now moved school?
