Apologies accepted..... It was just that i was being blamed for something i never even said.... All is forgiven and forgotten.... :)

I am still game for a meet up if people are interested. I know its a long weekend coming up and most wont be around but some unfortunate souls like me are still in the country. So if anybody wants to hang out, do let me know.

Guys some of the events that is taking place this weekend

coming Friday 27th Nov 2009 there is a KUMBHA MELA in a famous Hindu Temple of Singapore , expected crowd is more than 50 000 from 6am onwards but the concrecation is starting off at 10am

Temple located in Tang Road near River Valley , nearest MRT is Dhobby Ghaut a 15min walk

DAY/NIGHT CRICKET TOURNAMENT
28TH & 29th of Nov 2009

Organised for Indian Expats and Cricket Enthisiast expecting mosttly Indians , English and Aussie

VENUE- Republic Polytechnic Sports Complex located in woodlands
Time- 28th Sat from 10am to 8pm
29th Sun 10am to 5pm

Sat & Sun 28 & 29 November 2009 at The Republic Polytechnic Sports Stadium located at 9, Woodlands Avenue 9. There are many fun-filled actives for you and your family. Come and enjoy yourselves and share the spirit of friendship with all present.

1. Colouring Contest
a. Saturday registration starts from 1pm and will be cut once the maximum is reached (Registration Fee: $3 per child)
b. Time 3 pm,
c. Category A:5 to 6 yrs old and
d. Category B 7 to 8 years old)

2. Carnival Games (tickets/coupons for games can be purchased on the spot) (from 12pm onwards )
a. Targeted at kids and adults
b. Spot the difference
c. Rings in hoops
d. Face painting,
e. balloon sculpting
f. On the spot Photography

3. Cricket Clinics (Saturday, 4pm)
a. Kids will learn some cricket skills from special guests
b. Kids can learn the essential skills and training needed to play cricket and have fun at the same time
c. Cost: Free

4. Golf Clinics
a. Kids will learn to play basic golf from golf coaches
b. Cost: Free

5. Bazaar : (12pm onwards)
a. There are multiple stores selling products that range from T-Shirts to Ladies Handbags
b. Kids are not forgotten with items for them as well with pop corn, candy floss, ice cream
c. There is sale of tasty Indian food.

6. Entrepreneurial Workshop
a. for teenagers aged 13 and above
b. Time : 4pm
c. Cost : Subsidised by organisers (free)

7. Henna
a. Women interested in getting the hands artistically enhanced should come and try this.

8. Hit wicket game
a. The game is run by Woodlands IAEC
b. Cost : Free

9. Free Refreshments
a. Free Red Bull
b. Free 7 Up
c. Free Mountain Dew
d. Free Milo
e. Spread over 2 days while stocks last

10. Basic Health Screening
a. Free screening
b. Early detection can save lives
