Hello from a new member !!

Well, If the idea of a House Party is still on and Simon's place can potentially have space constraint, I can offer my apartment. Its a 3 Bedroom condo (The Makena) and I think should be able to accomodate a party of 16-18 people.

I am 28M, Indian. Not much experience of Christmas celebration customs except that once some Danish friends offered a limited edition Christmas special Beer some years back. Would love to be a part of the festive mood. Moreover, I am new in Sing so would get to meet new people and make new friends.

Do reply/pm if this fits the plans for the group.

Morning everyone,

Thanks to all those that have offered to host these drinks at their places, really appreciate it. I figure I started this so I'd better finish it so I think the plan is to stick with hosting at my place. Looks like it is going to be an eclectic mix but a good opportunity to meet a few people. I wouldn't worry about age etc this is all about meeting a new friends.

I'm not really too comfortable posting my details up on this forum so I will send out an email to all those that have put up their email addresses so far. All those who want to come along then send me an email at [email protected] and I will let you know how to get here.

So the plan is drinks and a bit of finger food around mine at 7:30 - 8 on Christmas Eve. If people want to move on elsewhere afterwards then we can cross that bridge when we come to it. Would appreciate if people could help by bringing along either a bottle or a few beers to keep the flow going. I'll pick up a few things to munch on as well.

One thing I will need a hand with is music. In a masterful stroke of IT ineptitude I managed to delete my entire music collection from my computer the other day. If anyone could bring along some speakers and their iPods then that would be really handy.

I think that covers most things, if anyone want to turn up a bit earlier to help set up then it would be appreciated. Looking forward to seeing you all on Thursday.
