Sorted - went for uktvaccess.com - works like a dream. Now my son can get his Dr Who and I can get a bit of peace and quiet.

I use Foxy Proxy for iPlayer like one of the previous posters... It's free and after the initial setup pretty simple.

There are a ton of walk through guides on combining Vidalia, with Foxy Proxy to achieve this, such as:-

We've switched over to Strong VPN - I think we paid about $50 or so USD for the year and you can switich between US and UK up to 5 times a month which was quite handy when my husband wanted to watch the Masters. Hoping it's going to work for the Rugby World Cup.

I'm using StrongVPN to watch iPlayer as well - the $55 a year Euro-America plan. The 5 server switches a month are useful as I use it to watch hulu.com from the US as well.

One trick I've learnt with StrongVPN for the UK is that the servers located around London (ie. Maidenhead, Canterbury, Nottingham) usually give you the full 5-15Mbps bandwidth, while the servers in London (or up north) only give me 1-1.5Mbps at best.

That's good to know as I think I chose Nottingham (as that's where I'm' from) so think I will change to a London server as I've noticed the download can be very slow.

ITV have several channels. How about looking for 'Sports' or 'Rugby'.

Anyway NZ won, tries won by Nonno, Noona, Bookilongi and Bonko.

It does take a bit of fiddling around on-screeen, i.e. it is not as intuitive as the iBBC iPlayer. But you'll know when you hit it's cherry.
