Well, I think what the index measures does not directly correlate to personal discomfort. So the index is probably fine. For example, I've run around in Beijing and China on much worse days (I was there when it was literally 'too high to measure') and I could breathe much easier compared to here. My chance of lung cancer may be much greater, but it didn't smell nearly as bad as the smog we have this week.

This is true.

So when you take your 'High Floor Unit', you have to consider that you'll still keep the windows closed all day.

LOL you are in trouble, based on Darwins theory, that guy will be one tough and smart sucker, he managed to evade all the traps, slippers, and bug spray on all the other floors to get to your unit. Should give him a medal.

I found, they dun give damn which floor is that as soon as it is cosy enough inside. I'm on the 1st floor now, but roaches come not more often than when I lived on 13th floor before.

Btw, woke up today in the morning, went down to the living room - I thought, somebody is burning shit outside the house. It appeared to be that my cat took a very smelly dump in her litter box in the corner. This smell combined with smoke from Indonesia gives unforgettable aroma to start the day with!
