So people are asking about Baybeats on here...yet ignoring my whole topic on the event?! How rude :op It's actually on Friday, Saturday AND Sunday. I'll probably give it a miss tonight if noone else is going (and I may accidentallty have other plans

), but Saturday and Sunday I will definitely be there! Is anyone coming tomorrow also?
P.S. Wednesday. Wednesday. Wednesday. *ahem*

I'll be watching the football tomorrow night, but Sunday sounds good.
Where is your topic on it , as I don't know anything about it.

Ok, so my topic has been deleted?! Why? I am not the organiser posting spam advertising my event. I am someone interested in attending, trying to give out information to others who have already expressed an interest. Grrr, I'm angry. If anyone could tell me why it was deleted, that'd be lovely to know what the hell I did wrong
Just look on
www.baybeats.com.sg for information on the line-up. 4 stages around the Esplanade with most bands starting around 6 or 7 each night. I suggest we make an afternoon/evening of it on Sunday as stuff starts a bit earlier (well there's a Gibson guitar clinic at 1.30 then I'd like to see the UK band at 4pm

) and we can have a picnic and beers

I am up for Sunday - defo defo!! Give me a text Nixxy and we'll arrange to meet. I have a birthday lunch on Sunday so 3.30pm should just about work.
OK people I have two votes for Tues and two for Wed! Need more input - I don't like dilly dallying especially when drink is involved. hehe

Hey guys - what about doing it simple? Trying to think of places to go which are cheap and cheerful (which is a hard task over here) so what about this.. there is a cool hawker place called Lau Pa Sat near raffles places MRT! Tiger Jugs are $16 and food is cheap and it is outside (just for you DJ!) Tempt anyone at all? There won't be the 'pub feel' though we could always move on from there, but it is good for talking!
We will stick to Wednesday this week because it seemed to suit most people! About 7 pm if we wanna eat as well?

Next meeting is for tomorrow (Wednesday 3rd) at 7pm. Meeting in Raffles Place MRT then going for Satay and cheap beer at nearby hawker centre - before moving on to something a bit more livelier - perhaps insomnia!! Email is
