No worries guys,
Next Mandarin Corner will be Saturday 11 July 5pm.
Venue suggestions?
The comment last time was that the venue was too busy soooo...anyone know anywhere VERY quiet?
Let me know this weekend (would like to fix venue by Monday)
Thanks,

I don't think there is a TCC in Dhoby. The closest is probably Bugis but it's very crowded. I'm going to look into a place that I've seen that is very quiet tonight and get the address for you guys. In the meantime...can people confirm they are coming this Saturday the 11 July at 5pm?

This Saturday, 11 July @ 5pm
Join us at:
Coffee Club
Millenia Walk
(Millenia Walk is across a small walkway from Marina Square. It is reachable by taxi and bus. The nearest MRT is City Hall...it's a 15 minute walk from there. Coffee Club is in the same building as Harvey Norman, and Jitterbugs but on street level)
The manager said they could reserve us a corner table which would be quieter and it seemed pretty quiet when I was in there at about 6pm yesterday.
PLEASE confirm on this board (or by private message to me) if you will be attending so I can let them know.
Thanks,
Kluane

The suggestion has been made that we meet at TCC at Millennia instead of Coffee Club.
He/she says: Unless sitting outside, Coffee club seating arrangment can be not so condusive from a noise/discussion angle.....and difficult to fit people around a table incase more than 6-7 people.
Since I work in the area and have loads of meeting at the coffee places nearby, am taking the liberty of suggesting.
TCC has a nice round seating to accomodate upto 8 people and its very quite on week-ends.
So...let's change to TCC. Sorry for the late notice.
Cheers,
Kluane

Good to finally meet those of you who could make it today. It's a shame we didn't have more people but at least numbers are growing each time.
Shame you couldn't make it Singapudlian. In answer to your question of how you would find us: the idea is that you tell the staff at TCC that there is a booking made under the name "Mandarin Corner" (which I mentioned in several earlier posts) and they will show you to the table. I guess remember that for next time :-) Hope you can make it then.
Next Mandarin corner will be two Saturdays from now. Same time I think. It seems to be convenient for a few people. Please let me know if another time (later or earlier would regularly suit other people).
Thanks,
Kluane
