Eh... The restaurant has always been very busy and our group has already taken up 11 seats. As such, please kindly commit yourself to coming for sure. I don't want to look stupid in front of the waitresses.

You sound like you're still not sure about your attendance at this juncture because you said you 'may bring a friend' and you'll call me 'if you can't make it'.

Taking up seats 'just in case' is not in accordance to my customary code of polite social behavior.

Having said that, I'll be very happy to get 2 more seats for both you and your friend if you can confirm your attendance.

Dory: I invited my friend to come but she is so overworked and cant commit until like 5pm to let me know. she works long "graveyard" hours !

up to this point, i am coming but who knows, I may be on the way and unforseen circumstances occur and I had to rush home right?

that is why i said, if u could give me your number, i will call u to let u know if I cant make it last minute so that u wont look stupid in front of the waitress and kept waiting for me

up to this point, I am confirmed coming 100% and I look forward to meeting all of u.

Hi kenneth1121, sorry for the late reply. Haven't get used to checking this forum on a frequent basis yet. Which I think I should, seeing as I keep missing out on the outings. Missed the Japanese lunch thingy again.. darn.

Anyhow, I'm working in one of those banks in Raffles Place. If you are free or anyone else for that matter for drinks on Fridays, please email me at [email protected]. We could hang out at Boat Quay or the more serene Indo Chine. I like the band there by the way and big comfortable couches.
