I don't believe construction workers of any nationality earn more than S$3000 (or equivalent) anywhere in the world. But they all manage!

Thats more or less £1500 a month before tax , I reckon every single construction worker in the UK earns more than that.

I would hazard a guess that everywhere in Western Europe construction pays more than $3000(or equivalent) a month

agreed, most builders can charge upwards of a couple hundred quid a day on labour (during housing boom a few years ago), if they are fully working in a month thats easily 5K GBP/mth, more than most junior office workers and its all cash in hand
