well, it does get a little harder when one is away from home and familiar people and environment. on the hindsight, stepping out of your comfort zone is what makes life even more exciting and interesting! =)

Once in a while I get an urge to meet new people outside my comfort zone.

At times, I do get to meet, make and keep new friends - these I'm thankful for.

Unfortunately, I'm not the most chatty person at times, sometimes I feel I'm completely socially-inept. Anyone else feels the same way?

Yea, I know, its probably a self-confidence issue...

I never did ever conquer my fear of public speaking.

My brain just shuts down completely and my knees start to shake (literally!).

Oddly enough, I can still manage to do karaoke in pubs.
