Hi there, we are off to Sydney in June for business and would like to spend a few days at a beach house (mid-week) on some lovely Australian beach, any suggestions?
Happy to travel couple of hours outside of Sydney.
Only me Hubby and son (aged 4)
Thanks Tracie

Hi - Tracie
Im just new to Singapore from Sydney and often used to go away for weekends so have a few areas to reccomended.
The Central Coast - 1 hour and half to 2 hours from Sydney CBD
- Killcare is a beautiful beach and quiet and peaceful with some funky little cafes and a few good restaurants
- Forresters Beach - beach also with a reef (good for surfing) and close by is The Entrance where there are shops, restaurants, pelcian feeding etc..
- MacMasters beach - very quiet location where there are great bech houses at reasonable prices.
The South Coast - 2 hours from Sydney
- Kiama a bit touristy but has lots to see such as blowhole, lots of shops and restaurants
- Gerringong/Geroa these are beautiful beaches nice and quiet but there are a few cafes/restaurants and lots of wineries close by.. (my favourite spot)
Close to these places are some towns called Berri and not far Kangaroo valley which would be great to check out lots of quirky little shops and good coffee..
Also on the South is Jamberoo it is a water park with waterslides etc..
Those two areas are where I used to go to get away from the city and relax at Australia's lovely beaches...
Goodluck searching I'm sure you will find somewhere great!!!
