I was in China Town and they tried to sell me a Lens for my camera for $400 Sing. Before I left I got it for $285 + got a free filter and cleaning kit to boot.

Not even on the same line - I'm on the EW line at Lake Side, but still open to heading to Orachard area on a Friday or Saturday evening.

What part of town is that in? I'm far west in Jurong.
