Welcome to this sunday's 28 November 2010, free Trekking and Bird Watching Session at the Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve:
Meeting Place: Kranji MRT Stn control exit. We take bus 925 from here to the Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve
Meeting Time: 845am at Kranji MRT. Sunday 28 Nov 2010.
Ending Time: 1pm or earlier. Optional: Lunch somewhere at the Woodlands Regional Interchange - Causeway Point.
Bring: Half or one liter water, mosquito repellent, poncho/umbrella.
Footwear: Comfortable walking/jogging shoes or sandals also can.

Birdwatching and nature trekking at our very own one and only wetland reserve. Migratory birds flocking all the way from Siberia heading south. And resident birds as well as other mangrove flora and fauna, plenty to see:

Its on even if it rains. There are plenty of shelters (called hides) for bird watching at the park.
Those who drive, can do us a favor by stopping by briefly at Kranji MRT to ferry early birds to the park. The rest can take bus 925 in (15 min journey). Late comers can catch up at the park - we start slowly at the visitor area then cross the main bridge over the river and do a counter clockwise loop around the park.

This is a free natural walk so you only pay for your own food and drink during lunch time. There is no age limit and no gender ratio because its a nature walk.
