can anyone explain what does a Trading Company do?

i want to set up an import and export company, is it the same as a Trading Company?

You only need $1000 to open the account, but they charge you a few bucks ($10?) if you drop below $10k. Applies to all Sing banks as far as I know -- but I bank with UOB because their corporate Internet banking is free, while DBS wants $50/mo. do you mean we have to pay 50 per month to use internet...
