Edit : my mistake . Those are the leaves ppl use to deter roaches.

To the point where I couldn't even hold hands with him or walk too close to him - and yes there were times I wished he were asia...

Good luck with that! I speak hokkien but mine is slightly different from the Singapore Hokkien (minor differences in pronunciation and tones), but we all still understand each other. I also have trouble when dealing with the older businessmen, especially since most of them tend to mumble!!!!
