Now that sounds like a recommendation.
I'll check it out this weekend.

I also heard from a buddy that Arab street had a number of cozy places to hang out.

Thanks for the information!

Count me in.
I'm from texas, lived in Az for 5 years and loved it (I always think about moving back)!

I've been in Singapore for 2 weeks now, getting to know the area, and finding a few fun places (there's so many).

Let me know if you want to explore.

Oh, I'm in my young 40's also.

Fun is defined by the moment.
I'm that flexible with the definition but the mug/jug prices sound damn good.

Hmmm, I could probably stretch $200 farther by skipping the crawl.

Ok, where's a good, fun pub, preferably near the MRT.

Well both actually.

While I've spent much more time enjoying Tex-mex...I like the authentic dishes very much.

Malaysia travel

I'm moving to Singapore next week and I'm looking forward to traveling regionally for fun.

Does anyone have any tips for Malaysia?
I like beaches, golf, and simply getting around and experiencing new people, place, and events.

Any Mexican Food in Singapore?

I'm moving to Singapore at the end of the week and being of mexican heritage I was wondering if I can expect to find any mexican food in Singapore.

It's along shot but if the answers no...no worries...I enjoy foods from all over the world.

Maybe I'll just bring it with me :D

Moving to Singapore Oct 3rd

Hello everyone, I'm making the move and looking forward to it.

I am well traveled and a frequent traveler but this will be my first time to Singapore.
Any advice?

I hope to get out frequently, explore, and share a pint or two.
