Good handyman recommendation?

Can anyone recommend a cheap but reliable handyman for some basic general work that needs to be done in the unit. For example, removing large picture hooks from wall, smoothing over and repainting the hole, reattaching a kitchen cupboard that has come off its hinges etc. Thanks

I can say do NOT go to Spa Haven. I spent a lot of money for their hair removal treatment and it doesn't work. Terrible customer service also - at least from my visits.

It may be better to find a qualified dermatologist - more expensive but would at least get the job done.

Scuba Diving in Bali

Some friends and I are going for a holiday in Bali and want to take a day trip to do some scuba diving. Are PADI OW qualified. We will be staying in Seminyak, but OK to start early / late to get the sites. Can anyone recommend the best dive site(s) in Bali for a day trip? The company we are speaking...

Be patient

I made an e-appointment in March 2009, actually submitted my papers in June 2009 and was not accepted until Jan 2010. There has been a bit of 'noise' from locals recently who are concerned about the number of foreigners here, so I guess the government is just trying to keep them happy and slow down ...

Maid once a week

Hi, Does anyone have a maid you can recommend? I am looking for someone to come in for 2 hours a week for some basic cleaning. I live by myself and am fairly neat, so only 2 hrs needed! Location is fairly central, right near a main rd with frequent buses. Can be flexible with the day. I'd like a per...

Uh oh, sadly I can't make it either, I have a work dinner I have to go to. Have fun - they both look like great choices, although the big question is which one sells martini's??!!

Hi everyone, so far I see 6 people confirmed for tonight, 7.30pm at Woods by the Wine Company. The Wine Company is one of the first restaurants on the right as you get into the main part of Dempsey, just walk around to the garden area out the back. Hi everyone, We had so much fun last week that we spoke about getting together again this Wednesday 2nd July for some drinks. I think the consensus was that there would be a more organised 'dinner' every 2 weeks? Woods by the Wine Company at Dempsey was a great little find, especially with 50% off a...

I really recommend being within walking distance of an MRT. And don't trust your agent - make sure you see for yourself!

You might struggle to rent a place in a private condo for $2000 - rents are hideous at the moment.

Thats not a bad salary for your experience, but you will lose a lot on rent - prices are very steep at the moment.

Vitamin E works but not as a cream. Buy the Vitamin E capsules from a health food store, and using a pin, prick the capsules and rub the oil directly on to the scar.

Hi, I would love to come along too. Should I get my own tickets? Not sure if there is fixed seating or not . . . I tried to PM you, but this is my first time on the board so they won't let me!!
