Looking for a hypnotherapist specialising in child phobias

My son who has just turned 6 has developed over the last 2 years an extreme phobia to needles. His reaction is extreme physical (vomiting/voiding of bowels)/elevated blood pressure/sweating/fainting. It is now to the point where he has this reaction if a person he knows goes in to see the nurse for ...

The school size has probably more to do with the parent's perspective than the child's!

We came from Perth 3 years ago and had the same overwhelming feeling about school size here. Looked at them all and signed my 2 up for SJI International. Its a small school with only 4 classes per entry and quite an active school community.

THe Trevose

Have only visited and it seems ok, quite an expat community. I live further down that road, there is no MRT station near at present - forecast to be finished 2015. THere is a bus service on the other side of the busy road, bus into Orchard road probably about 10 mins. No supermarket in walking dista...

SJII

I have 2 children at SJII, one 6.5 and the other 5. WE happen to join the school 18 months ago, at the time I was ignorant of the fact it was so new (13 months!) but as soon as I saw the campus, children and atmosphere I knew it was for us. The management, staff and school community are a real team,...

Range of Schools

Hi Have looked around a few and I think it very much depends on their age. I looked at Overseas family SChool for my 4 year old who had been attending a small daycare in Oz and just found it was too big, the school size was quite overwhelming!!! My older daughter goes to ST. Josephs and I have been ...

Any cheap craft shops - a 5 year old party in Singapore!!!

Having just moved to Singapore from Perth, I have been astounded by the level of "party" entertainment provided for kids birthday parties. Many have professional party organisers in or locations fully catered for and having looked into it, I cant believe the costs!!! My previous experiences have bee...

We settled on SJII (St josephs institution international!!!), there are a maximum of 3 classes per year group and is there is a great feeling of community. I have been very impressed by all aspects of the school, but definitely go and lo...

Treetops

Have just found stayed at Treetops and found it great. I have 2 children 4&3 and there were lots of kids there for them to play with. The pool is a good size, gym is fine and our apartment came with 20hrs free babysitting (you can choose from a list). The kitchen in the apartment was lacking some co...
