Hi from London....

Hi

I was just about to post a similar question - anyone have any experience as to how things work in practice? I am hoping that in practice, if you give 2 months notice you may not have to pay up or maybe just loose your deposit? Anyone with any experience of this happening?
cheers

What a great idea! I think the island (and hopefully my liver) is definitely big enough for a second official night of drinking after WNDC. See you east coasters tonight. I also hope to be there, probably rock up on my new (but used!) motorbike and be drenched in rain water - and later on in beer p...

I can only echo the previous comments made here regarding road safety, attitude of drivers to cyclists, heat/humidity & the need for work shower etc. A lot depends on where you will be living/working, and if you can use the network of cycle paths etc. Otherwise it won't be much fun. As for the recr...

Visa for Vietnam - anyone got experience?

Hi

Am planning to go to VN pretty soon - any idea how long it takes to apply for a visa? Can I just go to the embassy and pick one up?

Ok we have a venue for this Thursday's East Coast Drinking Club. It's going to be at Blooie's Roadhouse Restaurant, 49 Jalan Tua Kong which is in Singlap. An excellent saloon wild west style bar with seating inside and out together with a pool table and ice cold beer. Don your sheriff's badge, roll...

Anyway, good to see you all there, my collection of business cards has grown again and I am still waiting for some emails from anyone who ...

Thai massage

hi,

can anyone recommend a place for a PROPER thai massage? I'm not thinking of the naughty variety here, but a decent, strong massage to loosen my tense back and shoulder muscles.... too much office work

Thanks in advance.
