Hi, if i have an NTSC tv from the US and want to use it in Singapore. Do I just need to get a PAL/NTSC converter box?with that would I be able to view cable etc with no problems? Also, would the converter box also be a transformer? or would I have to get a transformer as well? You can buy a PAL/NTS...

Nothing like visiting the school, ask if you can visit during a normal school day and peep in as well. Visiting on Saturdays will give you a totally different taste of the place. Also do ask about their deposit / registration fee / refund policy. This tells you quite a lot about what kind of school ...

Before saying anything related to Indian schools let me say that your nearest govt (MOE) school is a very worthy choice to consider.
