I'll be up for this but may get expensive. You likely to be there all night?

Brix downstairs is often a good place.

Hi David

Few of us are going for a few beers on Boat Quay tonight. Three english blokes if you can handle it. My dads from Glasgow though so know how to abuse my body! Any others welcome to join in for a few.

Bangkok is awesome! Went to a friends wedding up there and had a great time. It has so much energy and the grittiness and life of it is such a refreshing change from Singapore. Seedy fat germans with young thai girls is quite disturbing though. The place I ended up staying was so bad - no recommenda...

Bangkok - Places to Stay

I'm up in Bangkok for the weekend and was wondering if anyone could recommend a good place to stay and meet people?

Also any good bars to go to?

Cheers

Bali - Ubud

can anyone recommend a nice place to stay in Ubud. Not overly priced, quite rustic and not a resort. Basically a chalet / villa type accomodation for two in the jungle / countryside?

If you havent seen Coldplay live then go. Absolutely awesome. I only managed to get seating as they were the last tickets available. Standing would be much better. British airways / Quantas are usually pretty cheap and direct Approx. $1,200 inc. of taxes.

KLM, Emirates etc. are also cheap but usually stop off along the way.

Singapore Airlines is a nicer flight - more leg room, nice hostesses etc but more expensive.
