well im malaysian actually ..pretty fun huh.

anyway, still big difference as its hard meeting new ppl in a different country/city as everyone already seems to have a group of ppl they hang around with.

Yup. You'd be amazed how many "Just got to singapore, looking for people to hang out with" people are on there.

well how else do you meet anyone? especially for those that are not sure so about where to go and actually approaching ppl who go out in groups = very intimidating.

As intimidated you may feel, just know that those people felt the same way before they picked up the courage to meet others. Just go out and see for yourself. No loss to you rite? I'm from m'sia too...i ocassionaly join the CGC group (Cantonese grouP). Feel free to join us.
