Am Interested in starting a group of fine wine lovers of Australian wine and would welcome one and all however if

1. you drink your wine with ice in it
2 dont know the difference between a Sav Blanc and Cab Sav

then PLEASE this is not the group you should be in

so lets hope we can get a great group together

Why restrict oneself to only Aussie wine ?

There's a whole world out there to be sampled and enjoyed . . .

Listed in alphabetical order (not in order of preference) : Austrian, Chilean, Chinese, French, Italian, South African, . . . just to name a few.

BTW, the Wine for Asia 2005 exhibition is fast approaching.

Agreed... After all, I much prefer a French or Italian Red, or a german Riesling to a lot of the "normal" Aussie wines... Best to sample the world.

On a side note: Anyone ever try a Mexican Chardonnay? Surprisingly good. Wonderful amber color, very mellow flavor, low acidity, with a fruity aftertaste that settles wonderfully on the palate.
