family Get Together ?

Let me introduce myself, I am a Singaporean and met my husband who is a Brit here many years ago. Fast forward, we now have a little daughter and sadly both our extended families are in Australia and the UK respectively.
We are looking to widen our social circle with others who are in a similar situation.

I am almost in similar situations as you except that out families are here.We just got back from the US this year and most of my friends are either in the US,Canada or Australia so I dun have many friends here...My husband has been busy working 7 days a week so I am alone most of the time and worse,we have no kids yet so it's boring here..if u know what i mean...anyway,if u do wanna hang out,write to me

have yet to find a place that adults can have a nice cup of coffee/tea and kids can roam around safely.

How about Village at China Square Central, they've got food concept like Marche and a children's playground complete with slides and rocking horses in there? It's not packed like Marche too. Nice ambience and staff.
