I booked 2 pool tables already under my name (will put it here on Thur evening or I might just send PMs to the ones who said they're coming), that are near some chairs and tables for people to sit who are taking a break or are not playing. I guess if the people are more we can take turn ay?
I certainly would like to sit in the middle near the bar to listen to the band and admire the furniture in one point.

Considering there are people who implied to be cheerleaders without playing the pool I guess? I was wondering if everybody would just share the cost of the pool tables which should be sort of settled now to avoid a headache tomorrow...

Unfortunately you're right Saint, they are American pool tables. I always struggle on these too, just ask Carpe Diem

Also no idea what the 'official' rules are here, they seem to differ depending on who you play against

but I'm sure some will be posted at the venue.

Also I was thinking as a suggestion - if we have 2 tables and quite a few people we could play conventional pool on one table (either singles or doubles), and play "Killer Pool" on the other

Rules are dead simple, everyone starts with 3 'lives' and take it in turns to visit the table to pot a ball, any ball. Everytime you miss a pot you lose a life. Winner is the last one left at the table. Usually great fun, and for beginners you can have a handicap system for example and give them an extra couple of lives or so to make it more fun for them.

The good thing about killer pool is that any number of people can play, you can make it more interesting by everyone putting in say $1 or 50c (winner to take all).

Anyway, just a suggestion, and we can see what people want to do when we arrive.

Confirmed: Kimi, sapphire, Saint and missus, Wild Rover, tequilabot, rheo, MangoCar arriving around 9, Scorpion also from 9.

Iffies: banana, luvtea, 2 from UNSing group, seraphim.

I booked the tables between 7-8 for now I think and can extend tomorrow I guess.
