I have an idea.

Why not book a chalet at Costa Sands or Santosa ..NTUC resort and lets have a party.

Each of us must bring at least one CD ..music of our liking and get the rest to join in for a jam session. ... we can have a variety of music R&B, Raggae, Salsa/Merenge, Bhangra, Dangdut, CantoPOP, etc. Condition is everyone else have to join for each other's dance session (may be 30 minutes each). You can device a dance for the music so there will be good interaction in the group. ....

May be we can bring our own costumes to change into for different dances

A chalet costs about $150 a night ... so if there's six of us let's chip in $30 each... also we bring our own food and drinks to share... I suggest we try for this Friday?

that sounds interesting ... who's going to take the initiative? I can bring some Sri lankan baila CDs and sarongs.

Hi everyone,

Hope we can resurrect this thread.

what about a karaoke party?

I suggest we book a large karaoke room with space for dancing so that for those like me who cannot sing, we could dance for the music. Since Karaoke rooms have more privacy than a disco floor we could have some party games to go with the music and the drinks / eats…. to create more intimacy among the group. So each of us must come with a surprise party game for all to take part in.

If you are interested I can check up on a good karaoke room for next Saturday night 17th. Please PM and let me know.
