Hey Gromit, I hope you like Mumbai. Its crowded with horrendous traffic but great people, great nightlife, loads of stuff to sightsee - must visit the Gateway of India, old parts of Mumbai like Colaba, Hanging Gardens, Marine Drive which looks awesome at night circling the sea.

Lovely restaurants like Mahesh, Trishna, old Iranian restaurant Britannia for the biryani and many more. For Bollywood stars, Olive (Mediterranean ambience) in Bandra, and so on. Have fun!

thanks for the great tips! ive got most of the interesting sites you've mentioned on my travel plans ....are Lonavala and Khandala worth visiting? Its seems far off central mumbai.....I was just cracking my head over great restaurants when lo and behold! your message came along! i'll definately check out the restaurants uve kindly recommended

The weather seems pretty warm in mumbai at 29 deg these couple of days, i was hoping that it'd be cooler as i'd be doing the standardchartered marathon (only 7km for chubby gromit) there. As for nite life, im not much of a party animal so i guess i'll bum

U seem to be familiar wif the city so i guess u're from mumbai? Do let me know if there's anything u wish for me to get

Happy to help Gromit. I really don't think Khandala and Lonavla are worth visiting. There's so much to see in Mumbai itself. I forgot to mention Elephanta Caves, haven't been there in years so don't really know if they still look good.
