some suggestions fr discussions...![]()
01.) i suggest we depart at an earlier timing... say... 10am?
cos ubin iz a reali great island to explore n u will surely b sorie if u run out of time...
n another gd reason is: de early birds get a better bike!![]()
02.) theres quite a few cycling trails on de island...
i suggest we take de "back to nature" ones...
itz not a surprise to find wild boars, pangolins, otters, hornbills, bulbuls, junglefowls, dugongs, dolphins, etc!!! oh, not forgetting monkeys...![]()
even tigers n elephants hav been seen swimming over frm johor!
(all above findings r recorded in NParks Sightings Record Book at the NParks Info Kiosk on Ubin)
oh! n lotza different species of plants n trees!
(i soundz like park naturalist now!)
okie back to de trip...
03.) things to prepare:
water (but can b easily get on de island too)
spare clothings
towel
sun-tan lotion (fr de ladies...)

Yeah, even non-swimmers should visit. Provided they don't go near the water or even try to have a little dip in it. It's really pretty deep. And almost every year, they will be accidents happening near there.louischia wrote:
