Edge I would love to film you working the ball at traffic crossings when the green man is lighted.

Why's this been moved from General? This thread has nothing to do with playing football but a general discusion on many Expat's team's chances in the forthcoming World Cup.

Eric from the Netherlands wrote:Agree Saint, this of all threads is a general discussion on an upcoming event, the World Cup 20006 and on football in itself.

It doesnot get any better with the mods and admin here.

Anyway, just a final one here as well from my side: guys, I will not participate in the World Cup game we were to set up, for the obvious reason I will not be part of anything that involves vaucluse.

No worries, just continue without me, I find my own club! :)

Eric
How about the 'cigar' club?

Why is it that it's okay for the "Soccer World Cup" and "FA Cup" threads to be in the "Enertainment, Leisure, Sports" Forum but not fitting that this thread "World Cup 2006" be there?

Or is everybody just feeling like Image again because of the other thread? Don't know who moved it but this is actually were it belongs.

Sir, the 2 threads you mentioned are asking where the best places to watch football rather than a general light hearted discusion on each of our Country's little hope in the forthcoming World Cup

I don't know who moved this thread either but presumably they felt it is a sports topic rather than a general discussion. Still there for people to carry on whatever.

I though it fit nicely inbetween both sports (that's what it's about) and entertainment (watching the matches of their favourites. But what do I know about English or Soccer for that matter. Maybe it's not a sport afterall?

Probably one of the only recent threads that's been ongoing for week with over 300 replies that has remained completely on topic and very friendly

Exactly Saint,

The 2 old men have no clue, they killed a thread that has been going steady for months without any argument, but since both men do not fancy football, thy decided to move it. An example in the general discussions section I would say, but not so for the two dorks.

For christ sake, it is a general discussion on the biggest sport event in the world. Sms, who gives a damn whether you like the sport or not, just leave it alone if you're not interested.

Hungry for power, so pathetic.

Thanks sms and plavt, you just convinced me, this forum is not worth reading or writing on anymore.

Eric
:shooting: OK, Eric! Let me have it with both barrells because I can take it! :D

Am I mistaken or is this thread very much alive? Not 'killed' at all... Why can't a World Cup thread be in the Sports section?

There never used to be a sport section. Remember it was entertainment food and leisure. It only became sport for this thread!
