Know how to speak Mandarin, but only a few sentences of Canton, (ie... hou gua qi lei, ngo oi lei, etc) XD

hmm..i'll say....

Poolparty + Potluck + KTV + Chillout-time (if possible) will be my choice *if we got the energies to do all these

bringing all the memories back....how the 1st time i dare myself to PM expatlady (KYL, i also wonder what happens with expatlady now? gone and revamped the name?

shame that the original 1st meet-up's thread gone into drain..as well as other posts....but no worries...eventhough i'm STM but i do still remember some of the stuffs...and if i forgot, i believes you guys will always reminds me the things i want to forget anyway

about how i'm the slayer that got sliced by non-slayers...about the fun and jokes that shared by us..but its fun....talk about the past, i do miss the pledge for the kingdom of dotz..

Hope that all old forces can throws in ideas and be present on the D-day

and welcome all the new faces to join and having fun with us + do throw in ideas.

ehem..

just a suggestion:
IF majority wants the gathering to be hold on saturday.....and we got no place for BBQ or pool party *lets assume that if nobody want to surrender their comfy abode

*...how about we pool party @ eastcoast or sentosa or Pulau ubin? huge pool with real waves

we can rent bbq pits and do pot luck at the same time..cycling..volley ball and we can spend the whole day there....and other out door activities.

if majority said friday night...can i say, we will arrange for dinner + KTV or party + chillouttime?...*Ladies & gentlemen, another dress to kill time?*

ok, as usual, i'm always the arsehole to object when it comes to suggestions and opinions... cuz if i dun, CGC will know i'n not myself...
here it goes..

i placed 3 choices.

mostly picked 2 with ktv the after... but i would say, its pretty much close to impossible. why.
bbq, we'll be so tired after packing and what do we do with all the ding dongs? bring to the ktv? you know it's crazy.

pool party. as some of us(i think only me lah) will be swimming, drinking, eating at the pool party. so, after it ends, same, we'll be pretty tired after the swimming and drinking, most of us just wanna sit and rot, talk nonsensical stuff till the sun rises from the east, we've done it, we know it.

above was to contest with the choices.

now, to the date:
jun-if we were to hold a pool party of bbq on friday night, it's crazy. are we all going to take leave or just BUY food and come? you know i'm picky when ppl BUY food and come and not PREPARE themselves, like that we might as well just order buffet? save the efforts, right? pot luck, means, we wan all to chip in(not from your pocket though i know all of you are riccccchhhhhh ppl!) so, as to say. it's definitely on a SATURDAY!!! case closed, no need to argue on this. we all need time to prepare food..

venue: jun!!!! east coast? are you nuts? very few of drives. east coast is out of the way, way out! with the breeze so strong, would you like to keep the fire going?

so, definitely, be it bbq or pool party, WE WANT A PRIVATE PLACE WHERE WE CAN GO CRAZY! agree?

ok, seems llike i only mentioned jun. i feel so bad(ya right!)... i really do... *sobz*

ALSO, this thread has been here since like how many days? someone count pls? and nothing yet... hmmm........ SO, meaning, we need to get something out real quick... planning dun come easy ok! pls do take notice that we usually take abt 2 weeks for preparation/organising/finding a place/allocating food and drinks..... at the rate we are going, we might as well plan for 2nd anniversary! so you all know now...

so, i hope following posts from all would be 'valuable' ok?

I prefer BBQ at the beach or East Coast Park (outdoor). Sorry, i am not familiar with beaches with BBQ in SG.

1) We can go there by sharing cab or bus, location is not a issue. We even went pular ubin from Changi village! Singapore is not large.

2) BBQ is much easy (check it out :www.ezb.com.sg)cos not everyone can cook. They can even deliver the stuff.

3) Other BBQ, we can cycling, roller blading, playing card, jogging......

The most concern is weather.

I hope this is considered as a valuable post.
