What on earth to do over the long hols?

I cant go anywhere for for more than a day cos of my pet, so instead of supergluing my fingers the remote, what can i do that doesnt cost too much of money, and who to do it with since i dont have too many friends here. Yes, yes, i see all the many posts and it sounds like every body is doing something and everybody is getting together and i'm sorry it almost sounds superficial. How many of you all actually really care about the people you all meet and how many of u really keep in touch after that?
