There seems to be 2 dates to this event... hence i suspect that its a couple of drinks only, a couple of snacks, and the main purpose is to show people the development. The email i received from emily goes like

Dear Sir / Mdm,

Thank you for your interest in the above invites.

Due to the over-wheaming respond on 15/9/06 event, we have arrange another date for you on 22/9/06.

If you are unable to attend on 22/9/06, we can arrange a personalise tour to show you this development.

I'm wondering if 15/9/06 is to go there for a tour around the development... hate to waste my time down jus to visit some silly showflat.

Oh Gosh! I was suppose to go down on 15sept. A tour around of the flats?? In this case, i guess i wouldnt wan to go anymore..

15 Sep is the actual event, the other dates will be tour of flats I think.

This event is a gathering of Singapore Expats Forum members at Water Place and at the same time, Water Place personnel will be show-casing the condominium for potential buyers. No obligations though.

If you are/will be offended by touring the condominium during the event, kindly reconsider your attendence.

Unfotunately I went to this. Just like timeshare- before you partake of the free food and booze you must go through an apartment and the whole sale spiel. The apartment was way too small for the asking price. It had no storage. Only good for a single bachelor who has no possesions.

Food and beer was great. But there was only about 7 people there most of the night. Then filled up with male real estate agents.

But I suppose that's what you get for getting sucked in to this.
