Japanese speaker around

hello, i have this urge to learn some japanese. so do i see some japanese people or japanese speaking local around??

will you share the way of learning japanese language fast?
as i'might be plannin for a trip to japan. i am also very interested in the culture and festival....... all which is not available in singapore!!

heard from friends who have been there...if you cannot speak or dun understand japanese...then it would e like chicken and duck talk.

so any kind soul out there?

I tried attending classes before .. got the basics .. but not much use because didn't get the chance to practice.

Thought a good way would be to have Japanese friends or friends who know Japanese ... get them to converse in Japanese ... and through this method, gain exposure to the language.

There's a Japanese Meetup Group here where members gather regularly. Joined them once. Quite interesting.

I know some Japanese. Got my JLPT 2 2 years ago, but dun practise much so pretty rusty. Basics are fine though. Any specific phrases u need to know?

BTW, I didnt know there was a japanese meet up group. Do you have more info about it?

I am learning Japanese too. Just sign up for the course with Cambridge. Looking forward to know some friends who speak Japanese as well.
