I am a friend of Batliwala. Am eager to join this badminton thingy as well this morning, but failed to wake up on time ....

If it's ok, can i join your badminton outings on a regular basis as well? I will need to go and buy a badminton racquet (and shuttlecocks) first, as i don't have one yet .... I can play though just don't own a racquet yet, as i have not played the sport in quite a while ....

Nike, good that you wanna join the badminton crowd. Don't worry about the Racquet now as you can always borrow others racquets to play for fun. It is not a bad idea to own a personal racquet if you dislike colors running off hand grips of unused racquets, stinky handles etc... about the shuttle cock thingy we can all chip in to buy.

Since you plan to join us the ratio of boys/girls seems to be rather poor at the moment 4:1. It would be a good idea to maintain diversity and a healthy ratio between the opposite sexes.... What say Bunty, Shardul, Santosh, KingAjit, Khozem??. Nike, check if Teagan or any of your girly friends would love to be a game for this.

Booking for 2 hours is fine, but there should be enough players who can come and we should play early in the mornings if we get the courts... atleast from 8-10 am. ....
I know i know getting up so early is a big problem for the bachelor boys....but pls try...
and yes the more the merrier, where boys or girls.....

Hi Badminton Guys,

I don't know any other gals who likes to play badminton unfortunately. Not sure if you guys need to book 2 hours, coz i think my stamina isn't that fantastic types. Hence, most of the games it will be the 5 of you playing, and i will play perhaps play 1 game (if i can last 1 game) and be the backup umpire lol.

I really want to get my own racquet, however, not sure if i can buy it on time for this Sat. Worse case scenario, i will just borrow from one of you who don't mind my perspiration on your badminton racquet grip (sorry)....

Tegan doesn't play badminton unfortunately..... 5 guys and 1 gal is ok really, not to worry. My only worry is getting up on time! and as you say Just Do It and wake up early.

By the way, is the badminton this Sat 23rd Sept? at 8am? I need to sleep early on Friday then


P/S Pls teach me some Hindi words okie I feel so handicapped. Only word i know is Kya.
