Is there a Hispanic/Latino Community

I just wanted to know if there is really a hispanic/Latino community in singapore. i have met very very few latinos since i've been here.
At lease some that can dance to Salsa...

I also happen to be a latino here, living in Singapore.

I really miss dancing some good latin rhythms.

If there is anywhere where good latin music is played and people can dance. Please let me know! I am also interested.

Just arrived in Singapore and aslo very keen on Salsa and all Latino things, any bars with latino music would be a success in Singapore...

Hi,

If you are keen on learning salsa , I would suggest you pay a visit to Attitude Dance Studio which is at Palmer Road , off Shenton Way. Alternatively, you can also opt for the Rueda , which is dancing salsa with a group in the circle like manner.

Anyone keen to know more can give me a text at 9628-4236 and i'll gladly discuss with you further where are the places where you can do Salsa.

Union Square Amara Hotel - Latin music and salsa.

Lempicka's at Mohammad Sultans - although since the departure of Alberto dunno if they still do the latin thang...

Dear all,

I am not a Latino or Hispanic but would love to do some salsa dancing. Let me know if you guys gather. It would be fun.

I know some basci stuff as I had lotsa freinds from Latin America, especially from Nicaragua, Costa Tica, Bolivia, Colombia and Peru

I would also love to attend Latin dance parties.

hi all,
my friend and I are looking for other spanish speaking salsa loving, cuban jazz fun people.

a while back we used to frequent places like Union Square for dancing but found the peeps there to be too full of themselves and though the dancers there are pretty good they have no appreciation of the actualy rythmn and feel of salsa- and hence if you can't execute a triple turn you are forever labelled as a mediocre dancer.

i prefer to enjoy the rythmns and dance to the beat- afterall we do not have a copacabana here to impress!!

i am have basic spanish language skills so looking for people to hang out on saturday nights, speak a little espanol, dance a little salsa and have have a goood laugh!!

Hi guys

Just want to reccomend you to come to Brix (Hyatt Hotel, Scotts rd.) on Sunday nights. Life band (mixed Spanish and Local) plays Latin music from 9:30pm till 2am. You can dance not only Salsa, but also cha cha cha, merengue and other dances. YOU will not regret. I've been to Union Square a couple of times but didn't like the atmosphere. Felt like i am not at the bar but dance studio. Too much tension and no passion.
Hope you will take my hint and enjoy coming Sunday at Brix.
