Hi all,
Looking for some advice...
I've been offered a job with a company in the insurance industry in Singapore with the following package:
All in S$ per year
Basic 108k
Transport 12k
Housing 54k
Bonus 17.5% of basic
I'm single and in my 20's
Good deal or not?
Thanks

Are you going to be the CEO or the accounting clerk?

But overall that sounds like a pretty good package you've got there, you'll be very well off by Singapore standards.

Not bad at all, but of course as poster above said, it does depend on the job you are doing!

It depends where you plan to stay. $54/year can go a long way even in a good location. Most of the good location, depend on the size of the apartment, cost between $2k to $4k (2 to 3 bedrooms).
Your overall package is considered very attractive. Let me know if you need more info.
Cheers.

2-4k?
My potential colleagues have recommended a few places in the River Valley area?
The
condos there seem to be about 5k a month!
A lot more than i'm paying in london...
Am i missing something?

river valley flats vary in cost from 2-6k. The 5k ones are very very nice.
The package offered to you is extremely good. I'm here in SG on about a quarter of that.
