Anyone of you know a hip place to hang out with over Christmas and New Year's Eve? I am looking into meeting a mix crowd of international people.

Thanks for the post. This is very good idea. You have my support. Now that the Christmas Eve is gone, we can still aim for the New Year’s Eve.
Having lived in Sri Lanka, Australia, and New Zealand now in Singapore, I can really appreciate what you meant by “making friends with people from this globe which I love, respect and enjoy”

I like that old Mao saying - can it has something to do with their history of consuming human flesh? I guess if they start the saying now, it would be It is sheep, it is sheep...
btw clearsky, you must like Sinagapore very much to plan the holiday get together with the people unknown 7 hours from where you are staying, or you are just having a post Sing Sling hangover?

Hhahahha. I am no Mao! For now, I prefer partying to politics. But if any rebel without a cause try to mess up my beloved Singapore, maybe then, I'll go into politics to iron the crease out.
I wrote this topic because I wanted information on the best place to hang out on Christmas and the New Year. I figured you party goers would have more details than me.

Hi there, count me in as another newbie looking for something to do on New Years Eve in Singapore... it'll be a new experience for me to be able to hang around outside on NYE

speaking of that anyone planning on trying to catch the fireworks? (I hear that the big display will be in the harbor.)
