Any Spaniards in Singapore?

Hello, I was wondering if there are any Spaniards here in Singapore. The two countries are in close proximity (on an alphabetical order). Somebody must have a hidden stack of chorizo and jamón somewhere.

The Las Lilas School is run by a couple from Barcelona. A number of Spaniards and numerous Spanish speakers from all corners of the globe attend the social functions organised by Las Lilas.

I believe chorizos could be had at The Tapas Tree at Clarke Quay

Not sure if they’re served at the other Spanish restaurants like Andorra El Terroso at Robertson Quay, or Via Mar at the Esplanade.

And while on vacation on a nearby tropical island, I discovered that chorizos are served daily during breakfast at El Patio at the Meliá Benoa, Bali, where I was staying.

hahaha...

one doesn't have to be spanish to appreciate a good chorizo no?... lol. i do miss chorizo, especially where it comes in so handy to flavour paella with ;D

You can actually get chorizo in Singapore? I'm delighted... Kevedo, I know at least a handful od Spaniards there, there's bound to be more and we should get together for drinks or watching late-night football, hehe

My close friend is from Spain and has been livigin here for upwards of 10 years (a brief 2 year absense when he moved to UK). And everytime he returns from his bi-annual holidays from Spain, he packs great food that includes a stash of jamon, chorizo's, lots of cheese, and some really bloody sausage.

Most enjoyable! There is a gang of spaniards that I know who have been here for a while.

If you are interested in hooking up, then let me know. I am sure there will be this 'eating' gathering when my buddy returns for which I will be the first in the queue.

yes, there are more Spanish in SG

maybe we should get together sometime and make a paella. I just came back from my Xmas holiday in Spain, and have some 'real' chorizo

Thank you all for your messages, suggestions and gastronomic tour de force. I can say I have brought a fast dwindling stash of serrano ham and manchego cheese, and some turrón for special occasions. I look forward to meeting you at some point and sharing the taste of Spain.
