salsa ka chakkar ye hai ki kal program hai salsa ka.... and i have started likign it ( naya shauk ) ..... but i am not sure kahan pe hai... aa jao aap bhi.....
dude, I mentioned to you its at Thumpers a club within the Woodgrove Park Hotel @ Scotts Road.

They usually conduct free beginners classes on Wednesday and no cover charges. Salsa classes begin at 8pm and Dancing floor is open to customers @ 9pm to dance to the tune of Salsa/Bachata/Merengue music. I have bad sore throat / cold today and will come there if I feel good tomorrow. BTW, you guys can get together and enjoy. Sorry for the late reply.

Cheers,
batli

Sorry dude the hotel's name is Goodwood Park...check the map attached.

heard from friends that you will be taught on musicality, basic posture, footwork, leading and following techniques for social dancing, and some simple variations like basic front/back, side, and cross body lead. Yup the class starts exactly at 8pm.
Once you enter the main gates of Goodwood Park Hotel ( located beside Far East Plaza) check details in the map below the map below. I have circled the area where you can locate Thumpers ,the hexagonal portion is the hotel lobby and don't go there.

Saturday, 24th Feb, Pulau Ubin

Post by kingajit » Tue, 20 Feb 2007 5:17 am

Dear MBA's
How about a Day trip to Pulau Ubin????
Pulau Ubin is a secluded world away from the hustle bustle of the noisy & concrete city life.
It is a $2 boat ride across the straits of johor ( 20 mins water ride). It is a great day trip spent walking or pedaling through rustic roads under swaying coconut palms, exploring shady trails in overgrown rubber plantations, checking out secluded beaches and flourishing mangroves.

For more info check the website

http://www.wildsingapore.com/ubin/index.html

How to get there????
Pulau Ubin is just off the north eastern coast of mainland Singapore, and is visible from Changi Point. To get there, take a bumboat from Changi Point Ferry Terminal ($2.00 one-way). Boats will leave when there are 12 passengers but you can also opt to pay the difference for the boat to leave immediately. Guests of MCC Ubin Resort can access from the Club premises at Punggol.

Bumboats run from sunrise to sunset. Special arrangements will have to be made with the boatmen for trips after dark.

We will have to assemble @Changi Point Ferry Terminal by 9.30 am ......so if u r game for it start adding ur names

1.Ajit + Aparna + Helen
