Is the plan to start at 3k and work up to 10K,
or are you running laps on a course or track?

We expect beginner and experienced runners to join, so we will identify U turn points at 3K and 5K routes. At each run, runners can turn back at the 3K and 5K mark. Those wanting to do the full 10K distance will follow the lead runners. We will also have a sweeper to ensure the last runner is not left on his / her own.

hahaha....we will go to a nearby food court or cafe and have a drink or food (if you are hungry after the run!) and maybe share tips on running.

If you are a member of Jackie Chan California Fitness Centre, you can lock your bags and take a shower there. It is right upstairs. Otherwise, there is storage facilities for you to deposit your bag in the shop.
Yeah...get back into SHAPE!

Hi f500
what is your running route like? Running through the city meaning running along the roadside?
Do you plan to organise running along east coast or Mc Ritchie for instance?

The run will start and finish at Velocity@ Novena Square and yes, it will be along the roadside. We do not intend to organise runs along east coast or macritchie. However, the runners also meet with each other for other runs and that includes east coast and macritchie.

As the run is newly started, we like to follow the pace of the general group, but still, there could be some running 5 to 6 min /km pace.
The Velocity RUN is meant to be a fun run and each can run at their own pace. We will wait for everyone at the end point for cooling down and some stretching exercises. Then off for drinks / dinner

i love to join but Novena is little bit far for me, is there anyone would like to run in CDB area instead? say raffles place?
Or would you able to route the venue? So some of us can join the team as well.
that is just my suggestion.
cheers

Novena Square is next to the Novena MRT (NS20) right?
and Velocity is somewhere inside the Square, right?
I'm game to travel and meet anywhere, I just hate looking lost (ie like a tourist)
