Health Insurance

Our company has a group insurance designed for local employees. It doesn't cover dental, optical nor maternity. Now we start bringing expats in (including myself) Are there any recommendations on private health insurance providers to cover these gaps or are there any providers covering the whole package. I'm married no kids yet.
Any tips are welcome

In most cases it is cheaper and under much better conditions, to choose an insurance back home. Most of the bigger insurers have so called expat packages, covering exactly those needs, when working overseas for a number of years.

Unfortunately that's the point our US HR is challenging ... we should find a local coverage .... and here we are, searching for a local (or global) provider who could cover that in SG.

There are actually quite a few insurers that cover globally. Local (Singapore) insurance cover you for a lower price however it has some problems for expats. If you leave Singapore the coverage will likely stop almost immediately. That means if you develop any serious conditions which require treatment while on the insurance it will likely not be covered when you return to your home country. You'll also have a big problem getting onto a new policy. Maternity coverage is also a big issue, you've gotta have coverage for around 9 months or there could be serious issues later on which no insurer will cover.
